"When I was a little girl, I remember always drawing dresses and sketching shops with dresses displayed in the windows. Over the years, my dream job changed so many times, but true dreams and passions never fade away. After matric, I wasn’t sure what to study or do with my life. I thought I would end up pursuing graphic design because of my love for art. Then my family suggested, ‘What about fashion design?’ Initially, I resisted because I had my mind set on graphic design. In the end, I followed my first dream and became a fashion designer. While studying, I realized something very important: fast fashion is affordable but harmful to our precious Earth. On the other hand, tailored or small-business clothing often costs a fortune, even though it’s more sustainable. That’s when I decided to create my own business—a place where I could make people happy with custom clothing that is both affordable and sustainable."
